A cup of coffee is the best way to beat back those gray rain clouds for me and some exercise helps too. Today I remembered how easy it is to make oat milk! It is simply rolled oats and water blended together then strained to leave the pulp behind. - 1 cup rolled oats - 3-4 cups water (use less water for thicker, creamier milk!) That's it! Pomegranate molasses & beetroot soup | Ingredien Pomegranate molasses & beetroot soup | Ingredients: - 1/4 cup of mung beans (soaked in water for 2 hours) - 1/2 beetroot (shredded) - 1/4 cup rice ( or you can use rice leftovers) - 4 tbs pomegranate molasses - 1 onion (chopped) - 3 garlic cloves ( chopped) - 1 tsp cumin powder - 1/2 tsp chille powder - Salt and black pepper to taste - 4 cups water (add more if needed) - 2 tbs Olive oil Instructions: 1- Sauté onion and garlic with olive oil until caramelized. 2- Add in the spices and stir well. 3- Add in the mung beans and beetroot. 4- Pour the water and add the rice and let cook for 15 minutes. 5- Check for the beans if they are cooked and add water if needed.
